Face Like a Cactus? Drink Water and Slap on the Snail

During recovery, my skin took a serious hit. It lost its glow, looked dull, and just felt… unhealthy. It was like all the stress and toxins were showing up right on my face.

One of the biggest game-changers? Water. Drink as much as you possibly can. Hydration helps flush out the crap—literally and figuratively. Water is your best friend in early recovery. Follow it up with sleep (as much as your body asks for) and regular movement or exercise, even if it’s just a walk.

When it comes to skincare, I’ve tried a ton of products—some were a waste of money, but a few made a real difference for me. It didn’t happen overnight, and of course, everyone’s skin is different. But here’s what worked best for me and helped me get my skin back to a healthy, glowy place:
