My Brain Has Too Many Tabs Open (And Some Are on Drugs)

Today’s post is about the wild cocktail of body dysmorphia, autism, and an overactive, hyper-curious brain—basically, a personality setting stuck on “experimental mode.” This can lead to some interesting experiences, like looking at your own hands and thinking, “Whose are these?” or forgetting who you are mid-thought like a glitchy video game character. Add in a brain that chases dopamine like a golden retriever after a tennis ball, and you’ve got a recipe for obsessive behaviors and addiction swaps.

Throw in an insatiable curiosity, and suddenly, you’re the mad scientist of chemsex. Meth, ketamine, and other brain-bending substances become the perfect mix for temporary escapism—because let’s face it, reality can be a snooze-fest, and sometimes, you just need a little chemically enhanced peace and quiet.
