Meth gave me a life sentence of Paranoia

Paranoia plays a significant role in the use of chemsex drugs, particularly methamphetamine. Whether you’re actively using or in recovery, experiencing paranoid symptoms is highly likely. These symptoms may include feeling watched, believing people are looking at you, sensing surveillance, or being overly conscious of your surroundings.

I am not a medical professional and cannot provide medical advice, but I have personally suffered from paranoia to the extent of experiencing all these symptoms. My story is not theoretical—it’s real.

Today, I take medication to manage my paranoia, which many would consider drug-induced, and I would have to agree. Looking back, before chemsex became a part of my life, I can say with certainty that I did not experience paranoia.
