In May 2024, a poignant news article emerged about a young man from Manchester named Ben, who struggled with a chemsex addiction. His sister, Chloe, revealed that after his tragic death, she found draft blog posts on his laptop for a blog he intended to call “Still Sleepless.” These posts were dedicated to educating families about chemsex and guiding them on how to support loved ones grappling with these dangerous drugs.
Ben tragically passed away from a cardiac arrest, with toxicology reports showing the presence of cocaine, ketamine, GHB, and crystal meth in his system.
