Nano Dust

So, here’s a wild one for you. Recently, I had this bizarre déjà vu moment that took me right back to my hospital stay, where I was absolutely convinced that the world was plotting against me. Picture this: I believed people were out to get me, showing up in all sorts of clever disguises. Whether it was a solo mission or part of a crew pretending to be couriers, spies, drug runners, or just “overly friendly” neighbors, I was certain they were all in on it. And, of course, their pièce de résistance? Invisible, trackable nano-dust. Yep, I thought they were sprinkling this stuff on me so they could monitor my every move, like some high-tech Bond villain surveillance team. Wherever I went, there they were, tracking me like I was starring in my very own thriller.

Fast forward to now, and I’m still having these next-level dreams that make Inception look like a rom-com. These aren’t your standard, run-of-the-mill weird dreams where you’re suddenly back in school naked (because hey, we’ve all been there, right?). No, these dreams are way more intense. They feel so real that when I wake up, I’m genuinely confused for a second, like, “Wait, did that actually happen?” I have to give myself a little mental shake and double-check reality. Seriously, it’s like my brain is messing with me on purpose.

It’s not your typical “oh, that was a weird dream” situation. No, this feels like I’ve been transported into a parallel universe where everything seems normal, but it’s definitely not normal. It’s like my brain’s running some kind of psychological thriller while I sleep, and when I wake up, I’ve got to take a moment to convince myself that the nano-dust surveillance team isn’t real (as much as my half-asleep mind wants to argue otherwise).

In the end, though, I just have to laugh at it. My brain’s out here processing things in the most bizarre, sci-fi-esque ways possible, and I’m just along for the ride. Eventually, I know it’ll pass, but in the meantime, I’ll just keep trying to remind myself that invisible nano-dust isn’t a thing… right?
